Henry E. Roberts Elementary School

Henry E. Roberts Elementary School was one of the first schools to be commissioned by the Chartiers Valley Joint Schools in 1958. The structure would contain 12 class rooms and 1 kindergarten. Henry E. Roberts was the former supervising principal of the pre-jointure Scott Township School District. It cost $659,630 in 1959 and $7,129,897 in 2024. Roberts was one of the few commissioned schools where the district did not already own the land or received it as a gift.

It would house K - 7 until 1974 when it sent seventh grade students to the Chartiers Valley Middle School.

Roberts would close in 1996 after sending K - 2 students to the newly constructed Chartiers Valley Primary School, then considered state of the art. After its closure, the land would be sold to a retirement community.
