Lincoln Junior High School

Lincoln Junior High School (1960 - 1964)

The high school students from Lincoln High School would move to the newly built Chartiers Valley Senior High School for the 1960 - 1961 school year. The Lincoln High School would then become the Lincoln Junior High School, providing education for students in seventh through ninth grades. The new junior high school utilized the same building as the former high school.

John A. Wight Junior High School (1964 - 1973)

Lincoln Junior High School would be renamed John A. Wight Junior High School in 1964.

John A. Wight Elementary School (1973 - 1976)

The opening of the new Chartiers Valley High School in 1973 accommodated the ninth grade students from Lincoln, and the Chartiers Valley Middle School would house Lincoln's seventh and eighth grade students. Lincoln Junior High School would transition and be renamed to John A. Wight Elementary School.

John A. Wight Elementary School would close in 1976, although we're unsure at this time what replaced it or where the students were transferred to.
